Easy Win
When you are ahead, pause the game and scroll all the way down
to "end game", and select it. You've won!
No Salary Cap
To override the salary cap, press Y, A, Select, A when a salary
warning appears.
Playing Tips
For a sure first down every time choose Shotgun Formation, then
choose normal then the play double flags. Pass it to the C reciever
and run up the right side line after the catch. when the group
of defence men catch up to you run backwards around them and let
your team block them. Then your home free for about 45-55 yards.
For longer kick off returns, press A, B to audible your team
into an onside kick situation to the right. Then, run up the right
sideline. For more accurate passing, immediately after you press
the button to pass to any reciever, do not push any directions
until the reciever has caught the ball or press B after pressing
the button to throw to a reciever to control that reciever and
you can make him fight his way in front of the defenders to catch
the ball.
Long pass play
Pro formation, normal, all streaks. Roll the QB to the right to
create more time for the recievers to get open. Reciever A is
usually the most open on the right side.
Long run play
Near, normal, HB toss Put WR in motion to the left to draw defender
away. If defender doesn't move, leave WR on the right. Run RB
to the right and up the sideline unless Corner has gotten past
the Wr's block. Then you would go inside him and then eventually
break diagonally to the sideline.
Easy sack
Dime, double blitz Move left defensive guard into gap between
C and LG. Move MLB in front of gap between C and RG but keep him
standing. Show blitz if there is a flanker by pressing R only
once. This creates a bump-n-run between flanker or split end and
safety or LB and also causes them to cover better. Let's face
it, there isn't very good pass coverage in the first place. C
usually doubles with LG on LDG. RG usually blocks RDG leaving
gap for MLB to rush. I have played entire games using only this
defense because MLB can also take out the middle running game
from that position.
Punt Return
Move LB's into gaps in Def. Line. Move outside LB's out in front
of wide outs. Creates more of a delay in punting team pursuit.
Never have to lose ball by punting: Crank up the "Roughing
the kicker" penalty. Whenever you punt, run the kicker into
opposing players after he kicks. This causes "roughing the
kicker" or "running into the kicker" penalties.
